Wonderful guidance and support
Just a note to acknowledge and thank you for your wonderful guidance and support. You truly are an empathic and insightful therapist, and this is coupled with an amazing intellect and ability to understand, connect, and open pathways and sightlines for people to understand themselves and the world around them better.
Thank you so much for giving me the space to think things through, and the support and guidance to see the situation clearer. What you did for me was both tangibly so helpful and practical, and emotionally so incredible.
Ngā mihi nui, me te aroha nui.

I was helped with my anxiety
I'm not sure if you remember me or not but my name is Amy and you helped me a few years ago with some anxiety problems I was having.
I just wanted to say thank you for all the skills you taught me as I continue to use them throughout my adult life.
I started university this year studying animal care and will further my education in the hopes of becoming a veterinary nurse. I found it challenging to begin with when I was placed in situations I didn’t feel the most comfortable in, such as meeting new people and having to talk in front large groups, but I always think back to the techniques you showed me and I feel calm again.

Kay’s approach was perfect
Sam has been doing really well in the mornings. We have been taking small steps guided by him and it is working! His teacher has been fabulous. The sessions he had with you really helped and gave him the confidence to move forward, thank you. Your approach was perfect for Sam who likes to listen but not necessarily participate at the start.

Kay has been fantastic
Thank you so much. You have been fantastic for Wilbur and the family. Wilbur is in such a good space at the moment! It’s unbelievable! Thanks to your therapy last year, he has been going extremely well. He has grown into a confident and happy child. He has done very well with his school work, his guitar, his sport, and his social life.
Thank you again,
Liz ( Mother of Wilbur age 9)

As a parent it is all you can ask for
Thanks so much for getting in touch, and how wonderful to hear from you.
Matthew is doing really well. In fact, he is a completely different child from the angry frustrated child last year who just seemed to want to punish himself and the world.
He is doing great at school. He has made lots of new friends in his class, and they are playing beautifully together. He has worked his way up from being in the bottom stream to the top stream in all subjects. Because he’s concentrating and interested. He even got a principal's award the other week for demonstrating leadership in class.
We are still spending time together every night discussing his days and how he might have demonstrated his strengths each day and I think it really helps him reinforce the things that are great about him.
He still has his moments when he gets stuck every so often, but he is much better at dealing with these himself. And when it gets too much he knows to take himself off for a minute, bring himself back when he is settled. And the good news is that he can see it from others point of view and will often acknowledge what happened, apologise and move on.
